Pete’s work as a brand manager and marketing coordinator includes generating earned media coverage about people, companies, and brands. He has advised and prepared executive leadership for media appearances. Through his work as a freelance writer, editor, author and marketing communications professional, Pete has cultivated media relationships, crafted targeted press releases, and understands the nuances and needs involved with earned media coverage. His experience and insight extends to the dynamics and timelines involved with coordinating and producing media coverage across print, digital, television, and radio.
As an author, he has self-promoted four books through television and radio appearances, press releases, book events coordinated with local businesses, libraries, and civic organizations, and festival appearances. International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) – Essential Tremor is more than a tremor
Pete managed a video production project that resulted in a video viewed more than 687,000 times, vastly boosting awareness of the condition and IETF as a nonprofit support organization. As a publications and website editor at IETF, Pete contracting Mile Deep Films to record, edit, and produce a video about essential tremor. Goals also included educating the public about the neurological condition. He worked directly with video/film director Anthony Ladesich on video concept development, talent coordination, set production, brand and story messaging, and editorial direction. The video’s honest, empathic, and holistic approach humanized the people with essential tremor.
